A more complete phonics journey
With the arrival of the new Phase 5.5 – Alternate Vowel Sounds, Wushka’s phonics Scope and Sequence is now bigger (literally!) and more explicit than ever, to ensure full coverage of the phonics code.
Wushka’s decodable library follows a meticulously structured sequence which systematically covers phonemic awareness, letter-sound combinations and spelling strutures over the course of seven phases. Each of Wushka’s 672 decodable readers has been written with a strictly controlled text, so that children are only exposed to those letter sounds that have previously been learned.
